This is a professional development workshop designed for TAs with prior teaching experience at UW–Madison.

This an opportunity to connect with peers, discuss common teaching challenges in a supportive environment, and advance your teaching practice. All sessions are led by experienced TAs.

Fall 2025

The Returning TA Workshop will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2028 from 8:15am – 12:45pm.

Attendees will have a choice of sessions, including:

  • Navigating Common Teaching Challenges
  • Facilitating Discussions
  • Public Speaking for Instruction
  • Sustainable Teaching
  • Developing a Teaching Philosophy
