
Returning TA Workshop by L&S
A professional development workshop designed for TAs with prior teaching experience at UW–Madison.
This an opportunity to connect with peers, discuss common teaching challenges in a supportive environment, and advance your teaching practice. All sessions are led by experienced TAs.

Fall 2026
The Returning TA Workshop will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Attendees will have a choice of sessions, including:
- Navigating Common Teaching Challenges
- Facilitating Discussions
- Public Speaking for Instruction
- Building a Sustainable Teaching Plan
- Developing a Teaching Philosophy
Registration for the Fall 2026 event will open in July 2026.
